Twitter Search Feed Web Part

The Web Part can be configured to display Tweets.

Properties that can be configured include:

Twitter talk

Users can group posts together by topic or type by use of hashtags – words or phrases prefixed with a "#" sign. Similarly, the "@" sign followed by a username is used for mentioning or replying to other users.

Displaying Tweets of a searched word

Display Tweets that contain the search word.

  1. Enter a search word
  2. Select Search Type = Search

Displaying Tweets of a searched word

Displaying Tweets that a user wrote

Display Tweets that a user wrote. This displays the latest tweets from that user.

  1. Enter the username as used on Twitter
  2. Select Search Type = User

Displaying Tweets that a user wrote

Displaying Tweets that were replied to a user

Display Tweets that someone replied to a user.

  1. Enter the username as used on Twitter
  2. Select Search Type = Replies_To_User

  2. Select Search Type = Hashtag
