Farm Gate Guide for Users
This document is addressed to logged in users of the Online Farm Gate Guide. A logged in user sees the Farm Gate User on every page of the website.
Login
The Farm Gate user logs into the application by entering a user name and password. The user name may be remembered for future login by selecting the 'Remember me' option on the Login form.
Business Profile
Once logged in, the Farm Gate user can access their profile from the list of Agri-Businesses on the Edit Profile page (see above). The user accesses their profile by clicking the name of their business on the list of Agri-Businesses.
Although the user can see the complete list of businesses, they can only edit the business(es) assigned to their login account.
Business Editor
The logged in user can then edit their profile using the Business Editor. Enter the changes to the profile and click the save button to save the changes to the database. The changes are immediately visible in the Farm Gate online directory.
Note: Other business profiles are visible, but are only available as read-only.
Note: Only the administrator is allowed to add or delete business types.
Note: Only the administrator is allowed to add or delete produce sold by a business.
Farm Produce
The state of Produce can easily be changed by the Agri-Business owner.
Edit Farm Produce to change the state.
