Server Nexus Overview¶

The server nexus provides permanent retention of Jetfire storage units for all users. The server nexus is represented by 'Subscription' workflow.

Storage units are permanently stored by Server Nexus, typically in a database or file system. The storage units provide permanent retention for:

workflow objects
workflow classes
Audits
Parse Units
strings
arrays

The storage units are logically stored in either a workspace or namespace.

Responsibilities of the server nexus:

Permanent retention of storage units.
Enforcing role based access rights.
Tracking and reporting concurrency errors.
Ensuring updates are atomic.
Updating client nexuses as storage units are created or change.
