Online Farm Gate Guide
Farm Gate is an application that provides online access for businesses that advertise their goods and services for availability. It is not an e-commerce application that allows businesses to sell over the internet. Rather, it is a marketing site that allows producers to identify what goods and services are available for sale at the "Farm Gate". Because the application is agri-business related and farmers were the original producers, the name "Farm Gate" is used for the application.
The online guide consists of two sections:
User Guide
The
User Guide is targeted at the producers of goods and services. They are allowed to log into the system to change their profile data and mark goods available as Peak, Available or Out of season.
Administrator Guide
The
Administrator Guide is targeted at the system administrator, who can perform a number of tasks on the system.
