CMS Create a Site Web Part
Create a Site is a one-click action used to create a folder with pages and protected by a role.
Access
This Web Part is accessed by the
CMS Admin Panel.
Features
Features for the Create Site Web Part include:
- One-click action to create a folder with pages.
- Automatically include pages in the navigation file.
- Create a Login ID.
- Send an email to the user requesting a site with pages.
Procedure
To create a folder with pages:
- Enter the name of the site. This is a mandatory field. This is used to create a folder.
- Enter the email that is responsible for managing this site. This is a mandatory field.
- Enter the url to the Company Logo. This is optional.
- Theme: Select a theme for pages in the site. The default is 'Default'.
- Pages (comma-separated list): A comma-delimited list of pages to add to the site. The default is: About_Us,Contact_Us. The 'Default' page is added automatically.
- Separate Navigation File?: If checked, a separate navigation file is created with the site pages included. If not checked, then the pages are includes in the website navigation file.
- Login Name (optional): This is the name that the user uses to login to CMS.

Edit Properties
Custom Edit properties for Upload Files include:
- Admin Role: A comma-delimited list of Roles that can access the Web Part.
- Template Xml File: A path to a xml file that defines template pages that are created for the site.
- Prompt For From Address: An option that indicates that a User and Password for email is entered.
- From User Credentials: The From User for email.
- From Password Credentials: The From Password for email.
- Send Email?: An option that if set sends an email to the email entered in the form.
- Admin User Name: This is required to add pages to the folder.
- Admin Password: This is required to add pages to the folder.
