CMS Master Page Configuration Web Part

The Site Master is the Master Page that is common to all pages used in the site.
  • Note: Additional Master Pages are defined for 1 column, 2 column, 3 column and other layouts used in the site.
    The Master Page Configuration Web Part is used to configure the Site Master Page.

Access

This Web Part is accessed by the CMS Admin Panel.

Features

Features for the Master File Configuration Web Part include:
  • Defaults for Title, Description and Keywords are defined.
  • The path to a fav icon is optional. This defines the icon that is displayed in the tab for the web page.
  • The Company Logo Url is defined.
    • Note: The Theme must be defined to take advantage of this.
  • The path to a Tracking Script is defined. This allows webmasters to customize their sites by adding scripts, such as Google Analytics.
  • The tracking script (without Javascript tags) to be inserted into the Master Page. This is no longer supported - use the Path to the Tracking script instead.
  • Google Analytics: Check if google analytics is used. There is software in Jetfire for Events.
  • Page Width: Select the page width for your site pages.
  • Page Alignment is displayed. A TrackerRealm designer must change this in the Site Master.

Note: All parameters are optional.

Procedure

Make changes as follows:
  1. Enter all options for the Master Page into the form.
  2. Click the 'Save' button to make changes in the Master Page.

Edit Properties

Custom Edit properties for Upload Files include:
  • Admin Role: A comma-delimited list of Roles that are allowed to use the Web Part.
  • Master Page: the path to the site master for the website.
  • Style Sheet: the path to the Style Sheet used in the website.
  • Common COR Edit Features
