CMS Software Packaging Web Part
This Web Part is used by the COR Administrator to manage software packages for use on the sub-site. Software Packaging is used for a number of reasons. These include:
- Limit what Web Parts can be added to a page. This satisfies:
- The website provider may wish to limit what Web Parts are used on the site.
- The COR Administrator may wish to simplify the selection of Web Parts for site configuration.
- Customize the Web Parts that can be added to pages within a folder.
Access
This Web Part is accessed by the
CMS Admin Panel.

- Update software packages used for a folder
- The Web Part can be configured to be public or secure

Edit Properties
Custom Edit properties for Software Packaging include:
- Folders: A comma-delimited list of folders where software packages can be saved
