Jetfire Auto-Login Web Part

This Web Part is used to automatically log into Jetfire. Auto-Login operates in three different modes (more information is described by Automatic Login Type):
  • Manual
  • Automatic
  • AutoCookie

Access

This Web Part is accessed by the Jetfire Admin Panel and the Jetfire Login Web Parts Library.

Features

Features of the Jetfire Auto-Login Web Part include:
  • Multiple modes for automatic login
  • Secure automatic login using encrypted data in a cookie
  • Custom text displayed for manual mode
  • (optional) Jetfire method executed when user is logged in
  • user is redirected to an optional destination page after logging in

Manual

In manual mode, the user name and password are configured as part of the Web Part data. The user is presented with a Login button. The user clicks the button to login.

This mode is not secure at all and should only be used by designers testing the system (it is a big time saver) and for online demos, where you have partitioned your website into folders that sub-users can access.

Automatic

In automatic mode, the user is automatically logged in based on login data configured in the web part.

This mode is not secure at all and should only be used by designers testing the system (it is a big time saver).

AutoCookie

In auto-cookie mode, the user is automatically logged in based on login data found in a cookie. The user name and password are written to the cookie by the Jetfire Create Jetfire User Web Part.
