Table Localization Web Part
This Web Part is used by the COR Administrator to manage multi-language strings for CMS and Jetfire Web Parts. Strings may be added, updated and deleted.

The Table Localization Web Part is used to define multiple-languages used in COR and Jetfire Web Parts. COR stores multiple languages in a database as opposed to RESX files.
Localization Features
COR Localization allows the following:
- COR Administrator can change default language text.
- COR Administrator can customize language text.
- COR Administrator can automatically add a new language using the auto-translation capability and then make changes.
The left side of the Web Part is a list of all strings that are in the database. The right side contains:
- A list of languages supported on the website as identified in the web.config file.
- The list of languages supported on the website.
- Edit Resource Commands: Save, Delete and Clear.
- Table Localization data:
- Resource Name
- Value of the string for the selected language
- Web Part - Select for language strings for a specific Web Part
- Page - Enter the page for page specific strings
- (optional) Comment about the string
Access
This Web Part is accessed by the
CMS Admin Panel.
Commands¶
- Save - used to create new records or update string values.
- Delete - use to delete a record.
- Delete Language - used to delete the selected language string in the record. The rest of the language record remains intact.
- Clear - use to clear the form.
Procedure for New strings
To add a new string for a specific Web Part:
- Enter the name of the string (this is a unique name in the Web Part).
- Select the language from the right-hand language box.
- Enter the value for the language string.
- Select the Web Part that the string is for.
- The Page is used for page specific strings.
- Enter an optional comment.
- Click Save.
- If successful, the Web Part shows 'Record Saved'. If unsuccessful, an error message is displayed.
Procedure to add another language to the Named string
- Select the name of the string from the left side list.
- Select the language that is being added.
- Enter the value for the language string.
- Click Save.
- If successful, the Web Part shows 'Record Saved'. If unsuccessful, an error message is displayed.
Procedure to delete a Named string
- Select the name of the string from the left side list.
- Click 'Delete'.
- Confirm the action
- If successful, the Web Part shows 'Language deleted ' and the name of the language. If unsuccessful, an error message is displayed.
Procedure to delete the selected language string
- Select the name of the string from the left side list.
- Select the language that is being deleted. (right-hand language box)
- Click 'Delete Language'.
- Confirm the action
- If successful, the Web Part shows 'Record deleted'. If unsuccessful, an error message is displayed.
